Multimedia
is a rapidly growing field, which I find extremely fascinating and
therefore, I am interested in learning more about it. What I find
interesting about multimedia is that one can be creative whilst
using various media technologies. Moreover, the advance of digital
technology has added more speed and definition to multimedia, which
in return enables one to be even more creative. That is why I
studied a BTEC National Diploma in Multimedia.
An aspect of my current projects, which I find very stimulating, is
the building of an interface, as it involves using virtually all
the multimedia technologies at the same time.
I manage the projects using time management. In other words, I have
to give enough time to the different aspects of the project. I do
this using lists of things to do. The idea is developed using a
workbook containing written notes or sketches from my research.
Research I might do for a typical project would be reading books,
surfing the net and visiting selected locations.
I have used these programs during my course: Adobe Premiere and
Photoshop (I have largely used them in many subjects), Macromedia
Director (which I have largely in my final major project), Realmac
Software RapidWeaver and Flash (2 programs we have touched o this
year, I would like learn more about using them) TC-works Spark Me
(I’m very confident in using it), in both versions Mac and PC. I am
able to use this equipment too: professional edits suite (I was the
edit man in all my groups), digital/analogue camcorder, minidisc
system, dital/35mm camera, and scanners.
I am a professional from Italy who previously studied at university
in Turin and I thoroughly enjoyed my experience in higher
education. I believe I am a caring and dedicated person. Meeting
new people and learning about new things are interesting to me. I
think I am a very flexible person since I can equally work alone
and in a group successfully.
My hobbies include going to the cinema, learning about computers
and traveling with friends.
